Since my first exposure to the unique tribe of ultrarunners, I’ve found them to be bizarre and motivational. The determination put on display as they charge the last climb of a challenging race is powerful. Their smiles ~ simply inspiring.

I hope I captured a good chunk of the racers as they pushed through the final miles of the race. I’m sorry if I missed you, I guess we’ll both have to come back next year.
