Miranda and Bridger’s Missouri River Engagement Session

Miranda and Bridger's engagement session started on the banks of the Missouri River underneath dark, low hanging clouds. The weather cast a beautifully even light that created a sense of cozy closeness -- the perfect vibe for our lovely couple. These two are keen for any adventure. When the afternoon storm clouds brought the cold, they bundled up and charged forward with the session. As Bridger and I scrambled around the rocky banks and wild grass, Miranda pulled off the same with heals and a laugh.

As a photographer, it is my absolute joy to host and capture couples in a candid, natural way. But every now and again, I get the rare itch to try something a little more posed. Miranda and Bridger were kind enough to trust me with this idea, and led to some of my favorite photos of all time.
