The Moyer’s Senior and Family Portraits at Mt. Helena
There’s something about summer evenings on Mount Helena that just makes it feel special. The trails are dry, the grass turns that soft golden green, and the whole city of Helena, MT stretches out below you. It’s the kind of place that holds a nostalgic feel and makes it the perfect setting for a combined senior portrait and family session.
We started with senior portraits along the grassy base of Mount Helena. I wanted images that felt honest — confident — and reflective of Dawson and his accomplishments in this season of life. As the sun dropped lower, the family joined in. The mountain gave us space to move, play, and ultimately be ourselves. This family is such a joy to work with. They smile the brightest and laugh the loudest when they’re together.
Summer sessions at Mount Helena never disappoint. The golden hour views are beautiful, but what makes them matter is who you’re standing there with.
